How can I obtain a user manual for the ICD-SX712D which I just bought. this site [sony] says I can download a pdf version but when I follow the link it doesnt take me to a useful place! Help!

Do you have a link for the Sony site that states that can you an download the manual please & I'll see if I can get someone to check it out..

In the meantime I have located a manual but it's a US version so not sure if it's exactly the same as the European version..

well, the Sony site that I access from UK seems to no longer promise a download of the Manual so either they've responded to my contact by removing it or I've got it wrong. I guess a US version will be substantially similar so would be Very grateful if you can help me get one of those.
